Flexprivacy recreated a true digital fiat system. It was essentially a mix of bitcoin public transactions and moneros private transactions. This invention was built in C++ and utilized the following technologies and mathematical concepts:

Delegated Proof-of-Private-Stake (DPOPS)

This is the first privacy-based blockchain featuring a voting delegation consensus mechanism. It is built on DPOS, DBFT, and VRF protocols. The system also utilizes reserve proofs based on zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), specifically using the bulletproofs specification.

DPoPS is the first blockchain voting delegation consensus mechanism on a privacy coin, built in C. It allowed users to delegate coins, using reserve proofs. Reserve proofs mathematically verify that a privacy wallet holds a minimum required balance. This is done without revealing the private key or the wallet's exact total funds. Reserve proofs use zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), and in this case the bullet proofs specification. Users could delegate coins to a specific representative based on Delegate Proof Of Stake (DPOS). The top 50 representatives were placed in charge of mining blocks. They were randomly selected via Verifiable Random Function (VRF) and verified through Delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerance (DBFT). Elections were held each block, to keep all delegates honest. Blocks were signed using the delegates VRF keys using the SHA3-512 hashing algorithm. The current 50 delegates would also process the next 50 delegates, to create a blockchain bond of blocks called the adjacent block theory.
